No Bake Peanut butter Chocolate Cookies

Thanks so much to chef Carly for giving this recipe. This is amazing for parties of just as a yummy treat. This is also gluten free. You can substitute any nut butter (Such as almond butter) for the peanut butter. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. This recipe can also be made by stirring all of the ingredients together except for the oats and microwaving it until it is smooth. Then add in the oats.

Makes 18 Cookies

1 1/2  Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder

1 cup of Sugar

1/4 Cup butter

1/4 Cup of milk

1/4 Cup of Peanut butter

1/2 Tablespoon of Vanilla

1 1/2 Cups of Quick Cooking Oats

  1. Cream the butter, sugar, and cocoa powder together with a whisk.
  2. Turn on the heat to medium and add in the milk. Let it bubble for a minute.
  3. Add in the Peanut butter and mix well until the mixture is homogenous. Turn of the heat, then mix in the vanilla.
  4. Add the oats and stir until it has the consistency of cookie dough. Make one and a half tablespoons mounds of dough. Transfer to an airtight container and store at room temperature.
