Prep time: 40 Minutes
Makes 12 Deviled Egg Halves
6 Eggs
Food Coloring
1 Tablespoon Mustard
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne
1/2 Avocado
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Water
- Put the eggs in a pot and cover them with water so that there is an inch of water above the eggs. Bring this to a boil and boil for 8 minutes.
- Once the eggs are done boiling, rinse them under cold water until they are cool enough to work with. Then repeatedly hit them with a knife so that the shell gets many small cracks in it. Make sure not to hit them too hard or else the shells will come off.
- Place the eggs into glasses and group together eggs that are going to be the same color. Put a small amount of food coloring in each glass and cover with a small amount of water. Wait for 15 minutes.
- Peel the eggs and separate the eggs yolks and egg whites.
- Blend the yolks together with all of the other ingredients until completely smooth.
- Pipe the filling into the egg whites and serve.
